bed is VERY COMFORTABLE, cleaning is impeccable. It is very close to a suburban train station, puts Madrid at a stone's throw, 30 minutes away. It has the advantage of being close to Madrid, of connecting with any underground, advantage of costing much less than a hotel in Madrid. It is ideal even to go on a weekend with your partner Madrid, enjoy Madrid without the prices of a hotel in Madrid. I pushed 30 minutes to get to the center of Madrid. It is even ideal if you go by car, you leave it at the door of the train station and come and go so comfortably by train to Madrid, without looking for parking, without paying parking and most importantly, without having to transit with the overwhelming traffic of Madrid.
One cannot complain, with the comfort, the cleanliness, the cafeteria service, paying what one pays. More services would mean more stars and more cost.
hotel is easily accessible, there is parking, room was spacious and clean. No noise was heard. We had to change our check-in for one hour at night and there was no problem. change was confirmed quickly and check-in was also quick. reception gave us advice on how to get to Madrid without having to use our car and also informed us about the schedules.
Plastic cups in the bathroom - in a hotel of that quality there should be glass cups. Not only because of the impression they make, but also to help the environment. The sweets at breakfast were dry because they had been outdoors too long. It is better to take out some and replace it more often than to take everything out all at once and have it dry. Except for the orange juice, the rest was concentrated. Nowadays, when everyone is a little more concerned about their diet, especially in Spain where there is a chance of fresh fruit, I find it fatal that a hotel does not know how to offer fresh juices.
room is spacious, clean and has a comfortable bed. Bathroom is spacious. right breakfast at a good price. There is complimentary coffee and juices at the reception 24 hours a day. In the breakfast area (very close to the reception) they accept people having dinner with food that can be taken from another place. I had never seen it, it seemed a good detail, since they do not have a restaurant service. All the staff are very friendly and attentive to the needs that may arise. access is easy, next to A6. However, silence is absolute, at least in the rooms facing the back, where there is a pine forest. There is also a free, closed, unguarded, underground car park.
The hair dryer is very low powered. The exit from the bath is somewhat dangerous, as the grab rail is a little far away.
As a positive part of the accommodation we can highlight the treatment of the staff that assisted us during the check-in and some advantages such as free parking or the theme of free drinks and snacks 24 hours a day. As a final conclusion is a hotel to go spend a night as you are passing through or on business, for nothing would be a hotel to be a few days of tourism ... in this beautiful city.
On the negative side, I would like to highlight the comfort of the bed, the smell of tobacco in the room, the general cleanliness and above all the notorious deterioration of the hotel's facilities. It is true that you have public transport such as the local train or the bus relatively close to the hotel, but for any journey you need your own vehicle or a taxi.
Comfortable room and good bathroom. Good choice for evening meal. Easily found the hotel - this time!!!
Air conditioning was not effective in room (Outside temperature was 30C!)
Good room and facilities
Location map is very poor - it took me 2 hours to find it!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice hotel with excellent standard! A little hard to get to, but can easily be done by public transport if you are creative in finding your way around :)
FRiendly staff. Convenient location for road & rail travel.
Food quality and choice. Poor breakfast & evening meal.
The location for travelling upto Santander for the ferry back to the UK was good
Las Rozas district is in roadworks turmoil which made finding the hotel difficult to find in the first instance. Once the location had been found then our stay at the Campanile was an excellent place to stay. Easy access to Madrid via public transport and to Avila and Segovia by car. We would use the hotel again without hesitation.
The bed, shower and breakfast
No frigo bar in the bedroom
Very pleasant and attentive staff. Good location for A6 and Madrid ring roads. Good evening menu.
Lovely hotel, room a good size, tea and coffee making facilities, nice little bar and relaxing areas. Nice and modern hotel. Room was a double but we took two inflatable beds for the kids, easily fitted in room - bargain, would recommend.
Internet connection poor, ok though in the lobby. The hotel is in a good position, if a little tricky to find - the Madrid road signs are the worst!
the hotel was very well placed for us as we were traveling from costa blanca to santander and it was half distance, will stay again on our next trip.
Location for where WE wanted to be. Secure parking. Meal option of using Restaurant for breakfast or the cafeteria - we only wanted coffee and toast which was much cheaper in the cafeteria than taking the breakfast option in the restaurant. Unusually for continental hotels, there was a kettle in the room BUT see below in dislikes
While a kettle is supplied, they only supply two paper cups and coffee, milk, sugar, etc on the FIRST night which seems rather mean when they charge the same rate for subsequent nights and don't have to change sheets, towels, etc. Hotel is on a one-way service road and there is no warning of the (hidden) entrance until you pass it. recommendation below is based on 1 night stay - bring your own makings if you want tea/coffee on other days.
